    Could somebody who knows Catawba pottery do a rule-out, maybe? I have seen very similar looking rosy-beige shiny jug-looking Catawba pieces.

    Somebody had a figural apple in probably Catawba a while back. Was that you? :hilarious:

    I Googled. Yeah, the clay could match, but Catawba always seems to have at least one black smudgy area... so I withdraw my hypothesis!

    Contemporary studio pottery by one of the folks who sell their wares mostly at shows and on the net. I can't read the name too well, is it John Mucciolo? I looked up that name on the web and couldn't find anyone.

    You could always email the Ebay seller that can't read it and give them the ID and see if it sells :). Of course the other listing has at least the pottery name.
