Absolutely insane album-IMHO his crowning achievement.Released in the US on October 16, 1968 (62 yrs ago ?).

Never followed Hendrix and I couldn't name any music.
But I do have a vast collection of vinyl from clearances stored at my lock-up, all in aluminium cases.

I found this one, unused and still sealed.
    Its a picture disc interview.

    Quite scarce I understand.

Possibly a bootleg album, with an old radio interview or parts from various interviews, and released as a "limited" edition.
Here's a Beatles interview record from the same label.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was also released with a different album cover, or as colour vinyl, and again as limited edition.

You see that a lot with radio broadcast concerts. Sometimes it's a complete concert, but often they contain songs from various concerts. That way they can create many different limited editions, by varying with songs from the same 3 or 4 radio broadcast concerts, or older bootleg records. Different album art, (slightly) different song list, often with a spelling error in one or two titles, and people buy them all thinking they're all special and rare editions.

I was more into sport when I was younger and most of the heavy metal and rock is too loud and noisy for me.
I was working at 16 and did not have the time.

Most of the people that I knew that were into that type of music and concerts, wear hearing aids now, or have tinnitus or are dead through drugs.

If it was printed in Japan then they might have read the Oxford English Dictionary and got the word Gipsy

This spelling is an older British variant. While older editions of major references once gave it priority, it has been largely superseded by Gypsy

At none time it was the correct spelling in British English,
That is the version I used when I was young.
