Spanish ? brass enamel paint what's its

    Hi, I tried asking about these on one of the ebay boards and I think we are all stumped. These are for sale in a local shop and I was wondering what they can be. The hinged piece is about 3" wide x 1" high, the other 2 pieces are about 3-1/2" wide.

    Any ideas? I have a rhinestone piece with similar prongs on the back and I was wondering what it is for.
