Help ID this hall table?

    On behalf of a friend, she bought this table at a garage sale.

    ETA - Located in Australia, NT!

    It's average weight, but incredibly hard. Glass won't scratch it. It was coated in several layers of paint and a pitch-like substance, then stripped, but it is certainly solid and is a very deep red all the way through.

    It has wooden pegs instead of nails, dovetail joining, brass drawer pull/plate.

    111cm long.
    650mm deep.
    1m high.

    It may be made of Ironwood ....
    The inlay is nice !
