Query About a Marcasite Brooch

    I'm sorry, but I tried to copy the photo, but alas, I'm not techy enough, so I'm hoping jewelery peeps will click on the link: https://maxsold.com/listing/8599180...&sort=bid_count&hideclosed=0&view=grid&item=0

    It's a local online auction site, but I am curious about the marcasite brooch on the left. There are initials DRGM which is German Reich Registered Design which Google AI tells me that those initials were used from 1891 to 1952. Wish I could see the reverse because it looks like there are "teeth" on whatever fastener it has. I'm thinking 1920s? What think you?

    It does look like it could be a clip rather than a brooch.
