My friend got a great unit in a storage auction & I bought a box of at least 50 of these plaques/awards? I thought they were the metal awards that hung on leather straps across a prize cow or bull, but some of these are too big & heavy - so what are these called?
    I have ones dating from 1913 - 1997.
    Are these collectible?
    Thanks!
PS - The one at top left in first set of photos has no horse show name - or any name - what is/was it for?

From a glance... They're what you think they are -- although I think there's a car race plaque mixed in there -- but Swiss. An internet search for Swiss horse trophy plaques will bring up other examples. Imagine collectors but some sure to be of more interest than others. The mystery plaque has the coat of arms of Geneva, Switzerland so most likely a souvenir item.

The square & rectangular ones look like they might be for jumping.
