I picked up an open sugar bowl and I'm having a little difficulty verifying the shape. I snitched this photo of a piece the same shape as mine however mine also has a wheel cut simple wave pattern around it.

I've seen it called #1180 and Debra but when I search #1180 many of the pieces I'm finding look different.

I'm not finding a good online source for this pattern. Any ideas? I know it's not worth much.

My mom had Heisey but in different patterns than this and she loved it.

Sorry, don't know where I put the photo...coulda sworn it was here :inpain: I'll try again.

As it turns out to do have a little info on Heisey that my mom had, a small book or two of patterns and some newsletters, however I don't see this shape.

I looked in my Heisey book by Bredehoft and it only shows two pieces in the Debra pattern, #1180, a hotel cream and sugar. The sugar does have a lid but the book says it is hard to find. Debra is a researchers name. Heisey simply labeled it #1180. The sugar above does look like the one in the book.

Oh thanks so much Don! I'm glad to know that is wasn't someone repeating someone else's mis-information. I'm guessing Heisey has probably fallen out of popularity like so much other nice glass.

My mom really treasured her Heisey but I only have a few pieces that were hers. When I saw this little sugar I had to bring it home thought doubt I'll keep it long. I think I only have a Heisey silver overlay bowl and Heisey ponies I'll keep though the ponies aren't marked so their being Heisey may just be family hearsay.

Post some pictures of the ponies including the bottoms and maybe this board can help. Please do it in a new thread.

Thanks George I'll give it a go. I'm terrible at photographing glass so I'll see what I come up with.

No. 1180 was a catch-all pattern, many unrelated pieces were included. The Debra Sugar and Cream are the only two that look like that.

Well that solves that mystery. I thought someone might have published something wrong somewhere along the line. Thank you!
