Was wondering if anyone knew who the artist is and what the characters say? Also origin and date? This is an original wat upload_2019-11-26_15-56-14.png ercolor. Yes Judy...I am hoping someone recognizes which language it is and can translate it for me. Also there is an additional Chop mark in red on the left hand side of painting in an oval shape.

From Dundun : i think the seal including 4 traditional chinese character: 寵辱不驚. which roughly means: be peaceful/calmful regardless of being praised or despised。

    i dont' think it's the artist's name.
Asian Fever, can you read the characters?

upload_2019-12-17_17-49-31.png 秋瑞 (QiuRui) which has no meaning in chinese. coz it is japanese, so the way we understand should be in another way

天津美瑞 --------> in japanese : 天津メイルイ

which means for the death memory in Tianjin(China)

I cannot read the rest of the words, sorry about it

This is a Chinese painting, not Japanese, I think, and not related to anyone's death. I
can't read all the characters, because the characters are somewhat blurred with the painting, but the last characters seem to be Tian Jin Mei Yuan; Tian Jin is the name of the city (in North China, a couple of hours east of Beijing,) and Mei Yuan is short for Mei Shu Xue Yuan, Institute/Academy of Fine Arts (of Tian Jin.)
It is customary for Chinese artists to inscribe a painting with a line from a poem, thought, place where it was painted, date, among other things.
Maybe with a bit more time and better images more could be said. It's a nice painting.
