Anyone recognize the pottery?

The center design is crystalline, I believe.

 

No, kiln marks, I think.

 

dude- I think #1 are kiln marks.
I think #2 are initials like INH suggested. I see R J and possible a C.
Makes me think this is possibly studio pottery.

 

I see where you are coming from, cluttered... especially looking at it from the one angle. However, when I zoom in on it or look at it from other angles, they just don't look like a potter's marks, but like glaze/clay imperfections (bubbling?), like the others on the base. I've attached pictures here.

I don't believe so. the inner bottom and the "exploded" bubbles on the outside hint more towards French "ceramique grand feu" where they heated for 1,5 to 2 days till they reach temps of around 1200 degrees C. makes also the pigments disintegrate.
