    Depends.
    Generally damaged or repaired pieces have much lower value. There are exceptions for really high end pieces of course.

    You don't want to pay a really high price. If you find something you like, that has been repaired and the price is reasonable, and you want it for yourself to wear, then go for it. If you are buying it to resell, you don't want to put very much into it.
