For 50c I could not pass this up. I should know what this is called, but other than Copper Lustre, I can't put my finger on it. Seller called it tea leaf, which of course it isn't. Unmarked, 7", most likely English. Or is it just copper luster? Thanks! thistle2.jpg

If you are looking for keywords
    Copper Lustre Cobalt Ironstone.

    It's not really flow blue.

Most copper lustre is English, but there were a few American potteries that did copper lustre ware.

Thanks, I just had this feeling of I should know exactly what this is, but guess what I assumed to start with is what you posted. So sometimes "a cigar is just a cigar moment." I knew it wasn't flow blue of course. Appreciate your help

It might be just a simple earthenware rather than ironstone I suppose. I wonder it the pattern is a variation on a cornflower.

Possibly Welsh Gaudy copper lustre, though they are mainly more fully decorated, but they do use the copper and the blue.
