Probably junk but I thought I'd check here first as I know nothing about glass.
No makers marks, numbers, no damage.

I think both were wedding gifts from years ago, found in the house I just cleared.

The swan has a couple of bubbles in the neck that look like breaks.

The peacock may be a lid to a trinket box or candy dish and would be lovely just as it is, catching the light on a window sill.

Seasons Greetings to all with gratitude for the valuable lessons I have learned from each of you.:joyful:

I am no help here, but love the peacock. Swans are starting to be the thing to have again near as I can tell with some styles. I remember my grandmother had a few in that Lenox creamy color.

I've had that peacock, labelled. Got about fifteen quid for it, I think. Swan is lampwork, possibly Italian.

Birds in the home are deemed unlucky in many parts around here among the fishing community.

Real birds, pictures of birds and bird ornaments are a big no no.

My late mother would not have anything resembling a bird in the house, even a picture with a distant seabird or any in trees.

It stems from the fishing trawlers leaving port, if a bird was on the mast it was said the trawler would not return.
In 1968 we lost three big trawlers and 58 men, there was supposedly Seagulls on each ship when they set sail.

I think I've just answered my suspicions of why these birds were wrapped and put away with wedding cards in a wardrobe and not out on display.
The man of the house was a fisherman.

Makes you wonder who gifted them with birds. A city slicker no doubt. A seagull once stole my lunch in an outdoor restaurant in the Bahamas. They were bold, just jumped up on the table and started eating. They know how to find food and trawlers are a big buffet. That's sad about the lost lives.

I was a Sea World in San Diego CA, had a hot dog in my hand. I felt someone knock on my shoulder and my hot dog was gone. A sea gull swung in over my shoulder and stole it!

Around here we have a lot of man made ponds that are nice to sit near when the weather is good. They have some benches to enjoy the view.
Don't dare bring your sammich, the birds there will come rushing over to you on the bench and attack you and your sammich. They are not messing around.
