Famille Rose Tray

Vintage or Antique? Seems to have elements of a modern and 19th Century piece and the mark has me baffled. What about the scene? Chinese New Year?

It weighs between 4 and 4.25 lbs and these pics show dimensions.

This is a fairly new piece too, dude. Looks like the scene depicts the lantern festival.

I would say maybe this (21st) century.

 

Wow, that new! No wonder no one hopped on it in the online auctions!

 

It's still quite attractive though, and the subject matter isn't particularly common, so not a bad thing to have as an example of what productions of this era look like ..
