One has a retailer mark of Hoard & Avery, the others are completely unmarked. It seems most believe they were made by Philo Gilbert.

There are enough differences between the two to think they're from different makers.

Left is backside and the right one is front. On two different size spoons.

Terry, the postings on the Silver Salon forum think it is probably Philo Gilbert also. According to the following posting over there this pattern usually only has the retailer name, but seems to have 4 whatevers like seen on Gilbert's "Medallion" pattern. Seems someone finally found this pattern with Gilbert's mark. You may have seen this posting, but incase not....

Be sure to also scroll down the posting and read the posting by Bob Schulhof (3rd from the bottom). He says Cook bought out Gilbert's dies when the company went bankrupt and used the dies for his patterns.
