Carved Wooden Triptych How Old ?

I took the photos on my phone in an antique shop, they are not very good. It is about 18" High. Is it religious, what is it depicting? Can it be dated? I passed it by because I was unsure of the quality and age.

 

These types of carved items are usually 1970s.

It's a decorative piece. May be from Spain where a lot of this type of carving came from.

Thanks to both of you. The faces are so poorly done that they are scary looking. Debora I was thinking maybe Mexico. I don't always trust my judgment.

 

Spain. Gothic design. Scenes appear to be secular. They're designed to look primitive. Here's something similar with religious motif. 1970s or late 1960s.
