Featured What is this? a pin? earring?

    Hi everyone,
    I found this the other day. it is sterling but is it something home made? The three sections measure just shy of 1" and the bottom section is hinged.

    Agree, a single earring. Could have been made in Jaipur, India.

    Thanks for settling the argument for me. my sister said it was a home made pin from a broken bracelet lol.

    actually she does. She inherited the bulk of my mom's jewelry, which included things from my grandmother and great grandmother. There was one pair of earrings I was going to keep (sterling made in Siam) but she took one of them to be sure I wouldn't sell them. She knows me too well
