Today i bought a painting. It is very old i feel even exceptionally old, however i can’t get to my computer to download pictures to this forum, but i also can’t wait to get back home next week to try.
Any clue how to get it on here with my phone?
When i choose add media, it only asks for a url
    Thanks

Need close up of signature if there is one, and people appreciate a photo of the back.

I would call the painting at Lascaux exceptionally old. What's your definition?

I think it’s old, I’m not the expert, that’s why i jumped on this forum.
    Seems it’s by Bernard Karfiol
He was only born in 1880’s
    Thanks

1886 - 1952. "...Karfiol’s early work was characterized by tenderness toward his subjects, sensuous forms, and a soft palette of muted pinks, oranges, and blues." Yep, that's right.

I bought it because i liked it. I think it captures a mother’s love for her son, perhaps he just stubbed his toe and banged up his knee and ran to her. She doesn’t know what’s wrong yet but she knows he needs her love and comfort. Maybe his bunny died, i don’t know
Fact is, i like it and it spoke to me and tugged what’s left of my emotional strings haha

It's very sweet. Can see why it attracted you. But the fact it has a "twin" is concerning. Sure yours is an original oil and not a print?

I also suspect it is a print.

    I think you are right
It’s kinda crackled up and on board like stuff instead of canvass
