What might this E. Scherzel painting be worth?

    Signature is Emily Scherzel
    I looked it up she is from Arizona 1880’s-1957

    paint comes way off the canvass it’s really cool, i just didn’t like how the frame covers up the top of the cactus

    In the site below, the realized price for one of her paintings differs from the estimate ($115 USD vs $400-$600). Of course, there are many different factors that play a role in the outcome:

    Biography Emily Scherzel born 1885-1957

    A painting friend of Arizona artist Lon Megargee whom she met as a student in California, she studied with Leon Gaspard in Taos, New Mexico and also exhibited her work there at the Harwood Museum. By the mid 1920s, she had moved to Phoenix. Megargee did a portrait of her, which was in the collection of the Phoenix Museum of History.
