IMG_2359.JPG IMG_2360.JPG IMG_2361.JPG IMG_2362.JPG I bought this... looks like candy dish at estate sale and need help with the mark. It is three sections and the lid fits on both the center piece and the top piece. It is 12 inch tall. It looks like H J G and has a rose or flower under that. Has anyone seen this before? I had this on another site years ago and got no help. Thanks

    That's weird.

I think the center piece although it fits, does not go with the lid and base.
They appear from the picture to be different qualities of glass. The base being clearer and possible lead crystal. The middle piece appears to be molded with a slight blue cast to the glass. Not lead crystal

There is a Home James Glass listed on Replacements, but the glass quality is again different from the center bowl.

Yeah that's what tallcakes said on another forum years ago. But it fits so good together and the color looks all the same. I have had this for years. I seen that home james glass but haven't been able to find out to much about them.

Weirdly, I just got a piece like this the other day. I did not get the base, only the round jar and lid and they match perfectly. I started looking for it and yours is the only post I have found. I did find your older post as well! I saw the HJG on replacements and I am sure you, like me, have now learned all about HJG Moseley the physicist, HJG Candy, the south Australian sheep judge, and Dr. HJG Beunders, the Historian. But nothing about glass. I wonder if the HJG is the name of the product that was originally in this jar instead of the mark of a glass company? That is my line of research currently. Maybe it was a drugstore candy container or apothecary jar or something. (That is what lead me to the sheep judge, by the way.) I would attach a picture of mine as well but I haven't ever received the verification email on this site so I am not allowed to. It looks just exactly like yours except I did not get the third, bottom piece. I wish I had more insight to share. Good luck!

This is Home Interior & Gifts . I have the middle piece with mark. Recently I found a figurine with the same mark. And Jon Robert #1426 made in China. The figurine was Home Interior made in China. The candy dish could be USA but I am not sure. Need to do some digging.
