A friend of mine just listed a house for sale and the owners don't want to take these with them. They remember purchasing them in the 60s but thats all they know. There's not a single marking anywhere on either piece. Can anyone here help with an ID? I'd almost like to buy these for myself but want to give them a fair price.

Interesting. I uploaded them as full images and they're tiny!

    Very Scandinavian looking

I was surprised as to how small they actually are in person!

    LOL.

Do you think it's teak? They're very nice and with everyone buying Ikea these days, this look has freshened up.

That is close all right! Teak would not surprise me.

I'm honestly not sure what they're made of.

I've only been here 32 years :meh: and haven't figured it out yet. Pics, that is.

When I click on the first two pics they enlarge very well. Second ones don't.

Have to admit those are both very attractive. I really hope you can get at least a starting point on value, but if you can't, ask your friend to try for an asking price and take it from there. Best of luck.

Depending on where your located , they could bring you a nice little price . That style is VERY popular right now . Personally , Id keep them and use them , they are gorgeous !

Hard to say without knowing who made them. The one at 1st Dibs is very close and could be the same maker. They say Swedish but don't name a maker. I would take their price with a large grain of salt. You know your market. I would figure the value of these based on what you could sell a similar generic/mid-end piece for and go from there.

I am not personally enamored by the styling on these. Just seem a little strange. Not sure my buyers would like them either. Sleek and subdued does better in my market. Again, you know your market so what I have to say may not have any bearing.
