Box is Czech, can't remember who (Epiag?). Vase is modern Asian.

Hi and welcome Lana - your second piece is majolica. 497 would be the shape number and will probably will not help with an ID. Most majolica of this type was made around the late 1800's and imported from Europe. If you could get a close up of the mark on the trinket box I might be able to tell you more about it.

Don, I don't think that's European 19th C majolica. The numbering is all wrong, and both base and moulding look very like much of the recent Asian lookalikes I'm seeing. Glaze isn't right, imo, nor is the quality there.

On the box, according to Rontgen: the top mark might be the Schonwald Porcelain Factory, the bottom mark is a decorator mark: Paefer & Schafer, Haida, Bohemia (c1930).

The top mark isn't shown, but is most similar to Schonwald. You can check online at the Porcelain Marks and More site.

I will defer to owned. I think I may have let the number fool me.

A repro, rather than a fake, so decorative value.
