Asian vase

    This stands about 6 1/2" tall and is about 4 1/2" around. There are no markings on the bottom or anywhere inside. Some of the painting is raised, which I thought was interesting. Curious for any information.

    Raised enamel, geishas, so most likely Japanese. It may have had a sticker.

    Moriage is the style in which the vase was painted. There is lots of this modern version floating around, can buy it occasionally at discount stores.

    It's supposed to look like older Satsuma ware from Japan, but more than likely is so-called "Chinese Satsuma" from the last 25 years or so. Just compare the painting skill on real Japanese Satsuma.
