I think thats a Maltese cross mark.I think it might be Italian .What I do know for sure is thats a gorgeous piece.

Nah this is typically English silverplate albeit a fancy schmancy one.

 

What is the handle made from? Also look about the handle sometimes there is a hallmark there.

Thats the prettiest piece of silver plate Ive ever seen ! Id have taken a chance as well,sure looks like the real thing to me. I am curious why theres no marks other than the one ? Always learning on here .

Not a bachelor teapot. They are tiny. Just a regular ol' 19thc English silverplate teapot - but a nice designed one in great condition. This stuff sells well in Toronto.
