The Dutch city of Zutphen used a Pattée Cross common; cross medieval style with splayed arm ends. It would date about 1765

The Maltese cross; the cross is eight-pointed and has the form of four "V"-shaped elements (arrow points) joined together at their tips.

What is the handle made from? Also look about the handle sometimes there is a hallmark there.

Not a bachelor teapot. They are tiny. Just a regular ol' 19thc English silverplate teapot - but a nice designed one in great condition. This stuff sells well in Toronto.
