    Welcome. Kieran. Are you aware of one of our sister sites - CoinTalk.com? Although some of the members here are also members there, you might get faster replies by joining up there too.

    And yes, better focused and lit pictures of both sides of your coin are in order.

    Looks like a George III halfpenny. One in mint state 64 sold at heritage for $186.
    Yours is in only good to very good condition and wouldn't be too valuable probably 10-25 IMHO.
    You need to display the reverse which would show the denomination.

    It does look like a Halfpenny but in that condition not worth much in the UK.
    Lots are dug up metal detecting.

    A good soak in virgin olive oil for a week or two should get rid of the green virdigris.
