    Hi

I have this 14k white gold 16 jewels manual wind Art Deco 1920’s Mars women’s wristwatch. I am planning to sell it and having researched prices I’m finding that they vary so much and it’s really difficult for me to put the right price to it. I wonder if anyone would happen to know what a fair price would be for such a piece?

Women's watches are a tough sell. The case is about $100 worth for scrap.

Wow okay....so the timepiece itself wouldn’t appeal to anyone?

The watch band looks like 1920s filigree/pierced work costume. The way these things go it might be worth more than the watch.

The strap is inscribed on the inside of the clasp at each end, and the mark reads:

“Annie Louise CLAP 1/10 12K patten applied for”

I think this indicates that it’s rolled gold doesn’t it?

That marking is usually termed 'gold filled'

That may be just the clasp and the rest could be something else

Is it working? The strap is lovely, as is the face.

Agree that these smaller watches are very hard to sell and would be worth the gold scrap only.
