Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post so please forgive me in advance for any mistakes. I had a collection of old ironstone pieces from many years ago and sold most of them but I have held onto this piece because I couldn't find out any information. This is strange because there is an underglaze decorated pink rose handle. When i bought this, I thought perhaps the top from a completely different piece or that the top had been "repaired" with pink color added. As far as I can tell, it's all original. The top and bottom match with the same impressed registry mark dating it to August 22, 1856. The registry mark is in a larger circle with the words T.&R. Boote, Union Shape.
