I just got this book for a really low price at a garage sale. I can find it for $32 online at Esty, https://www.etsy.com/listing/507683...MIste8oPWZ5wIVZf7jBx2xbQzpEAkYASABEgJ3cvD_BwE I cannot find it anywhere else. where can I look to see the value of it?
The one on Etsy is in considerably better condition than the one you have judging from the pictures you posted. Just because the seller wants $32 for it, doesn't mean they're going to get it. Yours is an ex-library copy from a theological school (perhaps you can make out the name from the impressed seal.) As with the other religious books you've shown here, it's not going to have a whole lot of value, if any at all (even if you got it for free.) You really should consider not buying any more of them if you are looking to make a profit. And one other thing - this is Vol 2 of a 2 volume set. Makes desirability even lower, I should think. @2manybooks
You can look on 'Abebooks.com', for one, but you won't find any high value for a good condition one there either..........
As above. Religious tome, obscure subject, inexpensive edition, just one volume of set, ex-library, poor condition. Forgive my bluntness but... Despite being old, your book has no value. Debora
I think the others have pretty much covered it. The only thing I might add is to check completed/sold listings on ebay, which can give you an idea if anyone is actually interested in buying it and what they are willing to pay. It appears to be readily available as a print-on-demand version, so the content is not scarce. Listings for the reprint version of Volume 2 on Amazon have a sales rank over 15 million - so not much in demand.
