Pair Asian Blue Porcelain Cups Bowls

I don't know how to read the labels. Like being from US and Japan the county of origin of the pieces or Japan as the issuer of the stickers.
I don't recall to have seen such glaze and decoration on Japanese porcelain. The closest I've seen is maybe Awaji but the bases are not quite right for that type of ware.
I would think some other Asian country.
Any thoughts?

I would suspect it's an auction house label. Its purpose was to provide a catalog number for the auction house's records and a brief description to help bidders. As such I would assume it's either a US or British auction house. You're much more qualified than I am to testify to the accuracy of the labels.

As to being antique, quite possible.
The labels could be from a dealer or small auction house. I'd think if they were examined by a real expert he or she would have given more details, like the period/dynasty of production, not just over hundred years.
I think this is more like a general sticker, that they put on their antiques and just wrote the inventory numbers.
For some reason I think they are not Japanese but I could be wrong. It is also possible the images were drawn later.

 

Thinking a little more about it, I wonder if they are import labels? Could be the tariffs were lower if the item was antique?
