Majolica Plate Age, Where Made by Whom

    This looks like it was damaged by removing plate hanger.
    Would anyone know the pattern name, age etc. ?

    Search for geraniums.

    Potters are lousy botanists. They're either pelargoniums, in which case the leaf is all wrong, or native geraniums, and the flowers are all wrong.

    Anyhow. mid 19th C, might be Boch.

    I think there was a German company called Zell that might be worth looking at.

    Thanks to all of You !

    I found it using Geraniums. Will look at Zell and Boch this evening. Really appreciate the dating, as I always worry that I found a reproduction.
