Possible Steuben glass

Any thoughts on worth of set?

 

I doubt this is Steuben. I've seen sets like this, mostly from around the middle of the last century. IMHO, value isn't particularly high but can't tell you a number.

 

It may not be, I bought an older store out and found these in it. The box I found them in said Steuben.

 

I can't tell if these are your set or just very similar. One is an active listing and the other has gone unsold repeatedly asking $25.

I have to agree with the other posters. Mid century but not Steuben. Try looking at Culver, Bartlett Collins to start.

 

Just because its in a box doesnt necessarily make it that item. Just like when something is signed , like glass or a painting doesnt necessarily mean its that item . Roadshow experts repeat that all the time .

 

Do I see a safety lip on the glasses?

 

This kind of thing does better locally. They go quickly at estate sales and the like here, in about the $30-$40 range. They might do better somewhere like LA or New York. The glasses look either new or very carefully handled; that gold comes right off in the dishwasher or with too much hand washing.
