    Peter, as a fyi... Shades are very helpful in dating lamps because proportions and styles change just like with women's clothing. Are you able to post photographs of both shade and lamp?

    The one with the transfers puts me in mind of an Adams pattern called "Minuet" from the '60s, but that's more likely a coincidence than any sort of ID.
