Featured miniature book, I have no clue

hello all, i was hoping to find something out about this miniature book. language, what for. As i said i have no clue.
measures 2" x 1 1/2" And came in this little crochet looking bag.

I'm wondering if this is a miniature or pocket version of the Koran? Sure is small.

Is there a mosque nearby you? Spring had very good luck having Arabic inscriptions on a brass tray interpreted by visiting one.

 

I think you did it Sue. Now i am finding similar items. nothing as small so far. Although there is one 1.75" in ebay right now.

 

I would suggest taking it to someone who reads Arabic and can confirm before you list it as that.

That's what I thought too.

 

Looks like the Koran to me. Not uncommon to see them in some sort of holder as well.
