Featured Help with Coalport Mark

    I can't seem to find this mark, so any help is appreciated. 8 sided porcelain plate, 8 7/8" diameter, marked only with a crown and Coalport in deep pink. No incised marks.

    Thanks, Bear. The pattern definitely looks like late 19th century.

    From c1881 all Coalport porcelain wares include a version of this Coalport Crown mark.

    • From c1891 the Coalport marks also include ‘ England ‘
    • and from c1920 the Coalport standard mark includes ‘ Made In England

    Interesting. Looks like an unfinished piece because it looks like the Coalport patterns that have the blue and lots of gilding, so this one didn’t get the gold for some reason...
