Thanks I Need. Not sure how old they are. Maybe they are salesman samples. All buttons are different and have a number underneath each one. These are metal not brass. A magnet sticks to them, so they can't be all THAT old.

Look like 1960s men's blazer buttons for the most part.

Waterbury is still in business as 'WB 1812', name changed to from 'Companies' to 'Buttons' in 2000, those looks like the buttons found on blazers, sweaters, coats, etc. circa 1950s-'70s...

Yes, Arturo Cinelli is a fictitious name trademarked by T. I. Swartz & Sons, a Baltimore men's sportswear wholesaler. Trademark active 1976 to 1983.

    P. Cardin would be licensed but might find some interest. Sassoon... Is that the jeans manufacturer?

Deb, could be jeans. They also had hair products.

Two different companies. Wouldn't be Vidal Sassoon (hair.)

Can remember people insisting they were the same maker and pronouncing both names the same (pretty sure there was a lawsuit) - never was much for designer jeans, more a Levi's girl, though my much older body now seems to fit better in Gloria Vanderbilt (oh well...)

If not salesmen's samples, I'm wondering if the cards were distributed to stores that sold sewing supplies and shown to customers so they could pick out which buttons they wanted?
