I know this teapot was made by Gibson’s of England, probably in the late 1940s or early ‘50s. Can anyone ID the pattern? How would you describe the shape - that visor-like shield at the mouth? The teapot stands about 6 ½” tall to the top of the spout. The main body is about 5 ¼” across at its widest (7 ½” spout to handle).

Here is a list of Gibson's designs (on Replacements.com). There is literally hundreds of them. Keep in mind this is just one page, and at the bottom you can browse through an additional 22 pages.
