Old Doll help please

    I know nothing about dolls, do you think she is all original? Cannot read the mark on the back of her neck. Her hands are composite, I think legs are too, head is bisque. She is 14". dolly.jpg dolly1.jpg dolly2.jpg dolly3.jpg dolly4.jpg dolly5.jpg dolly6.jpg Thank you.

    I think the visible markings are
    S/0
    Germany

    The G of Germany is written in script. The company's name may be above S/0 covered by her hair. Here are some antique German doll makers' marks. On the 1st page A-G scroll down to Augustus Frederick Carl for an example of a letter / number followed with Germany marking.

    Rather than"S/0," it probably is "8/0." This would be the doll size and not the doll mold number per the following.

    "Note: Most numbers below 100 will be a doll size number, doll mold numbers usually begin at 100 and go up from there."
