Howdy! Was wondering if anyone could help identify this cast metal nude lady lamp.

It stands 12" tall. It has been rewired at some point.

I have searched art deco "lady" lamp sites, past auctions, google and other images. I can't find her. Thanks in advance for any help!

I have something rather similar in patinated spelter kicking around somewhere.

These often came with Czech crackle glass shades. I've also seen mirrored glass shades, although I don't seem them on the link I've attached.

I found this pinterest page that claims Frankart as the maker for many of the cast metal items.

I don't see your particular lamp, but the paint is the same, as is the similarity in style of the ladies.

You will have to do research to verify.

I went looking for my example and found a load of other stuff so I started a few new threads instead, but from the linked site, this one seems nearest, although my lady was, I think a bit bigger.

I found my example, cast metal, painted, very heavy, probably spelter, missing the tall bulb. And damaged at the shins, worse luck. That pretty well wipes out any commercial value.

AF...she does look kind of like my gal...is she marked?
Ouch! on your babe's shins. I think someone would buy her to restore...maybe not a lot, but better than chucking her back in the shed.

cluttered...I know the shades you're talking about...but I will sell her as is.

Thanks for the pinterest link...I've been there, too. I have literally spent hours searching for her.

I was hoping perhaps one of the peeps may have a reference book or catalog of Frankart lamps.

    I'll keep looking...thanks guys!

Nice lamp that I have not seen before. That is the Frankart green color but I don't think it is Frankart. They tend to be more pure Deco and a bit smaller in scale. AF's lamp is more in line with a typical Frankart lamp.

To my shame I had never heard of Frankart till I saw this thread.

Good morning, verybrad....an early bird, I see. Me too, although I enjoy coffee more than worms.

I still have not been able to find her, and would like to id her before listing. I have a ton of old reference guides that I will peruse today...perhaps I'll get lucky. I can always search my state's library database, too.

Frankart did bigger stuff too. Floor standing ashtrays and such. I agree it's a bit fancy for TYPICAL Frankart but my money would still be placed on them (though not a sure thing by any stretch.)

LOL! ...... I hadn't gone to bed yet. I am the antithesis of an early bird. As much as I have tried to change, I am a night owl through and through. I think it was about 3:30 when I finally called it a night.

Hi Debby & welcome to our forum!!:happy::happy:

This thread is from almost 4 years ago. That is not to long after this forum was started. I doubt that @cartoongirl still has the lamp, but I will give a shout out anyways.

Thank you for posting the ID though, because it may help some one else who may have a similar piece. :):)

I think it's great that four years later the pictures are still available.

How about a photo of that bud vase, and whatever it has by way of markings?

Good idea!! Let's see if she responds to a tag. @Debby Kelsey

I use Auctiva & get 1G of storage space which I have never even come close to using 1/2 of in all the years I have used it. I have a separate folder for any forum posts so the photos are never deleted & I doubt they ever will be at least by me.
