Featured Rock mush?

1and a half inches long, 925 on bale and chain. Picked up on a table top trawl so no info. Has someone just mushed up a mixture of various aggregates and glue? There’s some shiny areas like a mica, the purple rock, I have no idea, not seen one of these before. Thanks.

 

Perhaps an unmushy type of jasper?

 

Could be, thanks, I think mine looks more like it is man made though because of the seemingly cut corner edge pieces. Yours look more natural and nicer than mine.

There is a jasper conglomerate of jasper pebbles and quartz.

 

I've seen lots of conglomerate rocks, but none THAT pretty....'course what I saw was just on the beach........

 

It is definitely possible for those straight edges and corners to be natural formations, created by the way crystals grow.

 

I may have found something similar. They refer to it as Mohave purple turquoise. Think mine is a shopping channel or Alibaba version looking at the chain etc but there are good examples from a specific mine in Arizona. It’s dyed and stabilised. I know very little about any sort of turquoise, I don’t see too much of it where I go to buy items in the U.K.

It's a composite stone made from small pieces of turquoise,dyed,stabilized.etc.. Looks like it dates back to the late 70's.
