At first thought it was a Waterford item but cannot find a signature... any ideas what this pattern could be called or how to describe it so I can keep searching? Thanks!! crystallamp.jpg crystallamp1.jpg

Are the fan cuts near the top unpolished? If so definitely not Waterford and probably Eastern European combo of pressed and cut glass. It probably never had a pattern name, as no one was trying to sell it as part of a "set".

I would describe the bottom part of the piece as fish scale, with fan cuts at the top above that diamond point.

Also are there cut areas at the neck? This may or may not have been a lamp when it was first marketed, it may be a vase drilled and converted to a lamp.
