Looks recent to me. What exactly did you see the The show? Was is Chinese, antique, how similar?

I agree it's modern but I find this pottery very nicely done by the person who made it, so I was hoping maybe someone famous? [emoji28] Anyways, I saw on antique roadshow of a woman bringing in a very similar type of vase and there was this company that made vases with glazes like this in the early 1900s, but I know that those were made in America, but this one is obviously asian. Any clue as to who might have made this one?

Oh, so it was an US vase not Chinese. I don't know if your bowl can be attributed to a certain artist. Maybe to a company. Most of the famous artists who signed Chinese porcelain are from older times.
There are probably famous contemporary Chinese artists as well but I have no clue.
    Could it be Japanese?

I didn't even think about it being japanese. Thank you.
