Boizot Bust?

I'm not familiar with this artist and type of work. Just wondering ifsomeone could tell me more about this piece.

 

It looks like plaster , probably a 1950s decorator piece .

 

We'll I figured it was a replica but wastmy entirely sure. It is really well made though. Thanks for the reply

Well it's not marble which also maybe tellsit not a real early piece. So the signature on back (Boizot) might be faked.

 

They,ve had plaster copies of statues for 100s of years . I guessed 50s , but it could be 20s or even 1880s .
