Help ID these Iron head and footboards

    Agree with the above. Don't repaint if you are selling. Most would prefer this shabby look right now or will want to paint in their own way. If keeping, paint away. Sand-blasting is fine.

    Hi,
    Instead of sand blasting I use a place that uses crushed walnut shells. Sand is a little faster but the shells are not as damaging as the silica is to the lungs. Sand is okay if the guys use a very good mask but usually they just use a dust mask which does nada.

    Yes I plan on keeping these, I did not however end up taking the one that has the paintings on it because it did not have any frames or a footboard. So I have three that I would like to get repainted, most likely white :)

    And thanks for the suggestions everyone!

    I would just get the rust off the green one and leave it alone; that green paint is too cool. The others... have at. They're pretty common.
