Pewter ornate etched tea pot help with the mark style material

This ornate tea pot is 8 1/2" tall seemed to be made of pewter but I am not absolute sure script signature on the bottom or Arabic.

 

Looks like a 1920s take on a Georgian design.

 

Hi @Mugzinnys .....when you upload the files, the very top image lets you click to "post every image FULL SIZE"....MUST DO!!!!! Most viewers won't click on every thumbnail to see..... It's a very pretty teapot that AF enlarged!

 

Thanks Aquitaine is there a way to edit the thumbnails to full size now really want to show the signature on the bottom. Thanks afantique was the inside coated with tin or silverplated

 

Looks to me like you just did it!!!!! That's what happens when you click on POST EVERY IMAGE FULL SIZE!! I'm not positive it's Arabic, but it's sure not English!!

 

Rub some lipstick over the signature or whatever it is and them wipe it off. Enough should remain in the script to make it clearer.

If no lipstick anything dark and wipe-able will do.

Not sure if this helps or not,..............the lower is Inversed......which sometimes gives just enough of a different perspective
