Very looong cartridge case mystery

    Solved. I hope you can access this forum since if so it saves me a lot of time posting the same info/photos. The brass cartridge case is 660mm long and measures 75mm inside the case mouth. I had no idea what gun it was for until someone on the forum came up with a photo in a 1915 French armament maker’s catalog.
