Stumped on Kenyan safari vehicle sculpture

Stumped on this one. The artist signature at the base is "Jaseph Kumani." I found a Joseph Kumani, who was a Kenyan long distance runner, but no potter or artist.

 

His signature:

 

Described as Hand-made clay African Matatu bus with people marked "Rabu Safari & Limuru Express.
This was found in a lengthy blog about someone's trip abroad.
I would venture to guess that Jaseph was inspired by this piece, only because of the extra detail involved...who knows? Perhaps, this person was just a better artist. No mention of name and only one photo.

 

Looks like Kimani, to me.

 

I would suspect it's a locally produced souvenir piece. There may be several potters producing variations of this piece for sale to tourists. Also a common practice in the Caribbean.
