    Looks like pressed oak , circa 1900 . Mass produced but very nice . These look like they were well used and loved.Or see the other thread posted about them.

    Johnny's got it. These chairs were inspired by the ca. 1890 version of the Renaissance Revival as illustrated by the likes of R.J. Horner, but not executed at the same level of craft. But, as Johnny said, "Mass produced but very nice."
