I posted about this earlier this week. I did end up winning the auction for these Crown Ducal "Strawberry Fair" items. There is a total of 74 pieces. What's not in the pictures below are plates and bowls of all different sizes. I'm still looking for information on them though. Searching, for me, has turned up nothing.

I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly. I did find this online but I don't know if it's accurate. I don't think these are hand painted though they could be hand embellished/painted over print but because of the line I see in the top you show I'd say they are printed.

"Crown Ducal 1920's "Strawberry Fair" demitasse cups and saucers. Manufactured by A G Richardson Co Ltd, in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent under the trademark Crown Ducal. Ivory earthenware with vibrant bands of duck egg blue finished with gilded edging, embellished with hand painted strawberry plant designs. eBay sale: 1 July 2012."

And this piece that sold for £4.75.

Please go back and see if you can still EDIT these to the FULL IMAGE option and always use that.
    Thank you! :)

Everything I have read either says it's from the 20's but the stamps tell a different story. According to the stamps, they are from the 50's. I'm just trying to properly date them.

'Made' in the 20s might be meant to be read as 'first made'.

    Then it all makes sense.

Either way, I like them all the same, lol. $50 for a 74 piece set isn't too shabby.

I think it's a charming set. (Especially like the jugs.) Great bargain. I don't understand why more people don't use and enjoy old china.

Debora, I'm with you on that!

Ask my DS's girlfriend, however (millennials, both of them...) and you'll hear:

If it can't go in the dishwasher and the microwave, I won't have it in my house!

TOG, I had a posting a while back, when DS & his GF moved in together...

You would not believe the things DS used to like that were returned to me at that time!

    Hi SBSVC,
Tell your DS girl friend I put my 80 year old Fiestaware in the Dishwasher and Microwave. The only pieces that do not go in are the rare ones and the mint condition ones. I use all of my Fiesta with chips and cracks and all as everyday dishes. My secret is NOT using any dishwasher soap with lemon in it and NEVER using the heated drying cycle, (well almost never) sometimes I forget.

Thanks, Greg - but I don't dare tell his GF anything right now! (She just may become my DIL one of these days...)

In any case, I can't imagine either of them checking to be sure the heat cycle is off, etc, etc...

DS was always fine with simply NOT dishwashing or micro-waving things... THAT he could remember.

Asking him to remember the no-heat part? Ummm, probably not going to happen!

    lol.
