Studio pottery mark ID

Hello - this is my first post here. I bought a lovely studio pottery bowl but can't find the mark any where. If anyone can help ID this it would be great. It looks like EB or ER to me! Thanks

It can be very difficult to identify studio pottery marks. Sometimes they are local to the area they are found so looking at local potters sometimes produces results.

If you post a photo of the entire piece it might look familiar to someone. You don't say where you are but if you're in the US or think the piece might have come from the US you might try this site.

Thanks for the reply. I am in London so its possible to find pieces from all over the UK. I will add an overall shot and hope that someone recognises it.

 

Does this work make anybody else think of the French Anduze stoneware?

Fwiw I looked through the studio pottery marks guide for the UK and drew a blank.
