Display bottle

Hi

I am new to the forum so a big hello. I am after any information on the glass bottle in the photo, cant seem to find anything online about it. If anyone can shed some light on what it is, where its from and possible value it would be appreciated.

We are going to need to see the bottom of this bottle. I am also assuming that there are no marks of any kind?

I am not so good at the art glass stuff, but there are plenty of others who are absolutely brilliant.

Someone will be along eventually to help.

Welcome, John! I'm not one of the people who can identify art glass, but somebody will be along. As Peggy wrote, it would help a lot if you could post photos of the bottom of the piece and of any marks on it.

Sorry for the vague thread. There are no markings on the bottle at all which is why I have had such trouble identifying it. Have attached further photos so hopefully someone will have an inkling as to what it is.

Even though not marked bottoms can tell a lot about a piece. The bottom of yours doesn't have a rough pontil, which rules out the vast majority of US Ohio art glass companies. It almost looks like it was mouth blown into a mold.

I'm not sure that a maker can be identified. My best guess is newer, possibly Asia, possibly Italian.

Here is a swirl triple gourd vase very similar to yours on shape and colors. They are calling it Murano glass.

Wonder if it is one of the Murano triple swirl gourd bottles/decanters by Alrose. Note that his came with white stoppers. They seem to have the same generic Italy foil label as the one in the link of previous message.
