House of Bismarck Antique?

    I dug up an old... thing... that I believe belonged to my great grandmother. I think it's a wine decanter. Embossed on one side is "Furst Otto V Bismarck 1871," on the opposite side is "Knappe Glaus V Bismarck 1345" and then on another side is the House of Bismarck coat of arms with "In Trinitate Robur" (Spelled "Jn Trinitate Rorur") embossed under it. I couldn't find any identifiable marking besides that.

    Does anyone have any information on it?

    Cool thing that you need to seriously clean up. Agree that it is a wine decanter. Appears to be a commemorative with 1871 being the earliest it could date to. You need to look for small marks on the silver once you get this cleaned up.
